How to read the colours

Each cell measures how much PIR the OPPONENT'S DEFENCE concedes compared with the league average (to the selected position, or to all): this season, blended with last season while the opponent has played few games. It does not say which team is better or who will win: in Fantasy what counts is your players' PIR, not the result.

That is why a game is not the mirror image for both clubs. Each side faces a different defence: when two strong defences meet, the game is red for both teams; when two weak ones meet, it is green for both. Example: A @ B can be tough for A's players (B defends very well) and only neutral for B's players (A's defence is average).

It also depends on the position: a defence can shut down guards and let forwards score. Use the position filter to see the calendar of the players you are thinking of. Home or away is not included in the colour.
